The Brooklyn Nets rebounded from an embarrassing loss to the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a balanced attack by the Brooklyn in an109-99 win over the Cavs at Barclays Center in Brooklyn as four players scored over 20 points for the first time this season.

James Harden led the team with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in with a season-high 24 points. Kevin Durant added 23 points, while Patty Mills, in a rare starting role, had 21.

Harden talked about the team being able to push through after a tough back-to-back after returning from a season-high six-game road trip. “(Brooklyn needs to) find ways to come away with wins,” Harden said. “Find ways to keep improvising on both ends of the ball. It’s a long season.”

Without Kyrie Irving and the injured Joe Harris, Mills was placed in the starting lineup for the second-straight game and compared starting with coming off the bench. “It’s different for sure,” Mills said. “Obviously, with who I’m playing it’s a challenge in itself to be able to work out how to get a rhythm, how to impact the game. You just got to keep learning on the fly.”
