The Brooklyn Nets, with consecutive first-rounds picks and one second round pick, drafted Noah Clowney & Dariq Whitehead with the 21st and 22nd overall picks respectively, and Jalen Wilson with the 51st overall pick, on June 22 in their home arena as the 2023 NBA draft was held at Barclays Center.
Clowney, an 18 year-old one-and-done University of Alabama power forward, comes to the Nets with a strong profile as he earned SEC all-freshman honors while starting all 36 games, averaging 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game during the 2022-2023 season.

Whitehead, an 18 year-old Newark native who played small forward at Duke University for 2022-2023 season, also comes to the Nets with a great profile as he played in 28 games, averaging 8.3 points per game, while shooting .421 from the field and leading the team with .424 from behind the arch during his lone season with the Blue Devils.
Wilson, a 22 year-old small/power forward that played four years at the University of Kansas, arrives to the Nets with a magnificent resume as he was named the unanimous Big 12 Player of the Year, a recipient of 2023 Julius Erving Award as the national small forward of year and a consensus First Team All-American during the 2022- 2023 season.
