The New York Knicks ended their three-game losing streak in a big way,
beating the Cavaliers in Cleveland 106-86 on Dr. Martin Luther King,
Jr. day this past Monday. They faced the western conference’s best team, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers yesterday before hosting the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.

Marcus Morris returned after missing five games, but rookie RJ Barrett
replaced him on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury against
the Phoenix Suns at Madison Square Garden last week.

Barrett is the future of the Knicks, and throughout a losing season,
his progression, along with the growth of second-year center Mitchell
Robinson, are two of the few bright spots for the franchise this
season.

Barrett will be looking to get back on the court sooner than later.

With the trade deadline approaching, should the Knicks look to unload
forward Marcus Morris? Would they be able to get anything better
than a late first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft? Knicks
President Steve Mills and Knicks General Manager Scott Perry are
working the phones to get the best value for the veteran forward.
