Andy Reid Addresses The Mass Media

Las Vegas Nevada – In a city that was known for hosting the biggest fights in history, the sports landscape that is Las Vegas Nevada is changing. Aside from hosting Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers, Sin City is the home of two time WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces. Major League Baseball will field the Las Vegas Aviators when the season starts in late March. Los Angeles Lakers Le Bron James has expressed interest in bringing a NBA franchise to the city.
 
Boxing extraordinaire analyst Al Bernstein who has covered the sport for more than 30 years was in town and talked about what bringing the Super Bowl to Las Vegas has done for the city. “This is huge”, he began. “With all of the development of the sports franchises that are here, this town has gravitated to sports. This is the event that l think puts it over the top.”
 
Monday night the more than 2,500 domestic and international media descended upon Allegiant Stadium to speak with both members of the Chiefs and Niners. Head coaches Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan, quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdue had the most media around their podiums. Said Reid, “it a great week and a great city. We appreciate the hospitality of the Raiders and Raider fans.” Shanahan chimed in. “This is why we love this sport. It’s the best sport in America, the best sport in the world. Obviously, we got the best fans in the world.”
 
It has rained every day since arriving Sunday. It has not stopped the fans that will continue to flood Sin City in anticipation of the biggest game of the year Sunday afternoon.
