The Indiana Pacers have stunned most of America by being up two games to one over Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals. This after the Pacers picked up a 116-107 win over Oklahoma City in game three in Indiana on Wednesday night. Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton finished with 22 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds. Pascal Siakim had 21 points for Indiana and former Knick Obi Toppin came off the bench and scored eight points, but finished with the highest plus/minus on the team with a plus 18.
Pacers guard Ben Mathurin came off the bench and scored a game high 27 points in 22 minutes of action. Mathurin did not enter the game until the second quarter and was asked what his mindset was while spending all of the first quarter on the bench. “Just staying ready, you know, whenever my number gets called. Just to go in the game and try and do the right things and help my team win, that’s the whole mindset.” Mathurin said after the game.
Game four is Friday night in Indiana, where the Pacers will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead.
