SGA Played Like The MVP In Game 2

After two games the NBA Finals are tied at one game a piece. After stealing game one in the final second, the Indiana Pacers were not able to keep up in game two. Oklahoma City blew Indiana out of the building in Game two with a 123-107 win. 2025 NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points to go along with 8 assists. Alex Caruso and Aaron Wiggins came off the bench to score 20 and 18 points respectively for OKC.
Over the first two games in Oklahoma City Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton has scored a combined 31 points. The series now shifts to Indiana where the Pacers will play their first NBA Finals games since 2000.
Former Knick Isiah Hartenstein started for OKC all season but has come off the bench in the first two games so that OKC can better match up with Indiana defensively. Pascal Siakim who was voted MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals scored 19 points in game one and scored just 13 points on 3-11 shooting in game two. “They have a lot of different guys who can guard the ball and fly around,” Haliburton said of OKC’s defense after game two. They are really physical, they forced the officials to let us play a little bit more. Just got to do a better job playing through that. I think I have had two really poor first half’s so I’ve got to figure out how to better earlier in the games.”
Game three is in Indiana Wednesday night.
