After scoring 45 in a win Monday night, Kevin Durant torched the
Washington Wizards for 39 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead
the Brooklyn Nets to a 113-107 win at Barclays Center in
another spectacular performance, shooting 13-20 from the field.
Kyrie Irving added 27 points and 5 assists. Former New York Knick all-star
Kristaps Porzingis led the Wizards with 27 points and 19 rebounds.

Durant talked about the offensive zone he is in after the game.
“I am just playing care-free basketball,” he expressed. “I think
that’s the best way to play. Sometimes when you want to win too much
you get in your way, you distract yourself, you worry about the
results too much.”

Brooklyn Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn chimed in on the play of Durant.
“The fact that he shows up every single day, he’s ready to work, he’s
ready to listen, he’s ready to be a great teammate,” Vaughn said.

Irving said this isn’t surprising for the former NBA MVP and scoring champion.
“We seen Kevin go on a 30-point barrage when he won the MVP, right,”’
Irving recalled. “Hopefully, he keeps it up and keeps averaging 40.”
