With the win, the Blue Devils advance to face the top seeded Houston Cougars in the South Regional semifinals Friday night in Dallas in a battle of the blue blood programs.

The James Madison Dukes, which finished with a 32-4 record and upset No.5 seed Wisconsin Badgers two nights prior, winning its first game in the First Round of the Big Dance since 1983, was unable to withstand the Blue Devils’ physicality as they committed 14 overall turnovers, including 12 steals, resulting in 24 points for Duke.
