Nationwide — Kaylynn Davidson, a 32-year-old mother from South Bend, Indiana, has been fatally shot just five days after the funeral of her 5-year-old son Kyler Nowlin Jackson. Her son was accidentally shot and killed by her 9-year old nephew.
According to authorities, Davidson got into a fight with 26-year old Kimarie Wright at a restaurant in downtown South Bend. A video caught Davidson hitting Wright while other people tried to break up the fight.

Wright apparently pulled a handgun and fired multiple shots at Davidson, who was running away from the restaurant, court documents said, according to the South Bend Tribune. Wright was later charged with murder and manslaughter.
Davidson was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries. Her death comes just a few weeks after her son was accidentally shot to death by his cousin. Authorities did not elaborate on how Jackson was shot and how his cousin got their hands on the gun.
