Wow, what a way to ruin Daddy-Daughter Day? A father was arrested at Walt Disney World after allegedly snatching the Mickey Mouse ears off a woman’s head. The man claimed she stole them from his daughter.
In the December 2023 incident, 54-year-old Mark Robinson told police he was at Magic Kingdom Park with his daughter when he embarked on a search to locate her missing Mickey Mouse ears. After getting off the Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Robinson told police his daughter believed she left them there. However, after roaming around the park, Robinson and his daughter came across what appeared to be the missing headpiece – on another woman’s head, per FOX 35 Orlando.
Now, the interaction for retrieving the Mickey Mouse ears was no calm, collected matter. Only recently did the Orange County Sheriff’s Office release records disclosing what went down.
The affidavit from the incident says a deputy responded to the theme park that evening and interviewed 36-year-old Milwaukee native Susana, who claimed to encounter Mr. Robinson. She told police while getting off a ride with her child and her husband she heard Robinson yelling behind her. Not thinking he was addressing her, she didn’t respond and continued to mind her business.
