20-40-1 Gets Daboll Fired

The Giants blew a 20-10 lead with under 5:00 minutes to go against Chicago on Sunday. The next day their head coach Brian Daboll was fired. The Giants are now 2-8 on the season and will not make the playoffs for the third year in a row, after making the playoffs in the first of Daboll’s four seasons as Head Coach.
In a released statement by Giants co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch they had this to say. “The past few seasons have been nothing short of disappointing, and we have not met our expectations for this franchise. We understand the frustrations of our fans, and we will work to deliver a significantly improved product.”
In the game against Chicago Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart threw for no touchdowns and no interceptions, and 242 yards in the air. He did run for two scores on 66 yards before leaving the game with a concussion and not returning. The Giant host Green Bay on Sunday who lost to the Philadelphia Eagles Monday night 10-7.
