Harden Helps Cavs Take Out Brooklyn

The Cleveland Cavaliers secured a narrow 106–102 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Sunday afternoon at Barclays Center in a competitive matchup that stayed tight from the opening seconds to the final minute.
Cleveland struck immediately when Jarrett Allen scored just one second into the game on an assist from James Harden. Harden, who finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, helped fuel the Cavaliers’ early momentum, while Brooklyn responded with strong defense and clutch scoring to stay within striking distance.
Nets guard Daniel Wolf led Brooklyn with 23 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, showcasing his confidence and ability to create opportunities for his team. Michael Porter Jr. and Nolan Traoré also contributed key baskets and converted multiple layups, including a key basket that brought the score to 64–61, finishing with 17 points, one rebound, and two assists while keeping the Nets’ energy and strategy strong late in the game.
Late in the fourth quarter, with Cleveland up 102-100 they managed critical possessions and clutch shooting to hold off Brooklyn’s late surge. Nets Daniel Wolf reflected on his performance after the game: “I felt like I was in a good rhythm tonight” he said.
Both teams delivered balanced scoring and intense defense. Brooklyn looks to play solid basketball as the their year will end with another post season failure. Cleveland wants to be a force in the playoffs and looks to move up in eastern conference as the regular season winds down.
