Jackson Leads Ravens Over The Jets

The New York Jets benched Justin Fields as their starting quarterback last Sunday and they got the same result. They fell 23-10 to the Ravens in Baltimore. Backup Tyrod Taylor got the start at quarterback and threw for 222 yards a touchdown, and one interception. Jets running back Breece Hall ran for 44 yards and Taylor ran for 18 yards. Hall also caught four balls for 75 yards, but he had a key fumble on the goal line in the fourth quarter down 20-10 as the Jets were about to put a touchdown on the board to put themselves down three points but it was not to be. “Yea listen, I love that player. He’s a damn good player for us, he’s going to fight for every yard, and we all know once you fight for every yard you have to be able to protect the ball,” Jets first year head Coach Aaron Glenn said after the game about Hall. “One thing that we’re not going to do is we’re not going to make excuses.” The Jets fall to 2-9 on the season. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 153 yards and no touchdowns. Baltimore is now 6-5. The Jets host the Atlanta Falcons Sunday 1pm.
