Towns and Brunson Knicks All Stars Starters

The Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks this past Wednesday night In an overtime thriller 149-148. Karl Anthony Towns led all scorers with 44 points and 10 rebounds, and Jalen Brunson finished with 36 points and 8 assists. Atlanta point guard Trae Young finished with 38 points and 19 assists for the now 26-29 Hawks. The Knicks and Hawks have split four games this season.
The Knicks have a record of 36-18 which has them in third place of the Eastern Conference. Their record is the franchise’s best through 54 games in the last 28 years. “We haven’t really accomplished anything, we have a long way to go to continue to get to where we want to go,” Knicks starting point guard Jalen Brunson said after the game. Brunson along with Karl Anthony Towns will be going to San Francisco this weekend for the All-Star Game. “It’s all about taking one game at a time, and now it’s about rest and recharge.”
The Knicks go into the break on a two-game winning streak after the Knicks got a win the previous night, 128-115, over the Indiana Pacers who eliminated the Knicks from last year’s playoffs in the second round.
