The New York Giants won their first game of the season Sunday afternoon 21-15 against the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. The game began ominous for the Giants as they fumbled the opening kickoff and gave up a touchdown reception on the following play, quickly falling into a 7-0 nothing hole. But the team was resilient on both sides of the ball and rookie receiver Malik Nabers caught two touchdown passes for the second game in a row. Both touchdowns came in the second quarter, allowing the Giants to take a 21-7 lead into halftime. They did not score in the second half. Giants Quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 236 yards and the two scores to Nabers. Wandale Robinson had seven catches for 61 yards for the Giants and running back Devin Singletary scored the other Giants touchdown on the day, and finished with 65 yards on the ground.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was given the biggest contract in NFL history a couple of years ago, completed 21 of 37 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Neither quarterback turned the ball over. After three weeks both teams are 1-2. The Giants face Dallas at home on Thursday night.
