LeBron James started the last decade with “The Decision”, a program in
which he was taking his talents to South Beach, played there 4
seasons, leading Miami to the finals in all 4 seasons, winning 2 NBA
titles & 2 NBA Finals MVP awards, before returning to Cleveland. Once
there, LeBron led the Cavs to 4-straight NBA Finals, and pulled off
one of the biggest upsets in NBA history, overcoming a 3-1 deficit to
the 72-10 Warriors to win the 2016 NBA championship. James also won
NBA MVPs in 2009-2010, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013. And he closed the
decade leading the NBA in assists and the Lakers to the best record in
the west. The New York Beacon names LeBron James the basketball player of the Decade.
