Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently earned himself a social media clapback from Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for his statements surrounding the U.S.-Mexico border and race.

The exchange started after Cortez retweeted a photo of a migrant family running from tear gas used at the border wall. She argued that it isn’t a crime to seek refugee status referencing families fleeing violence in Central America and other countries.
