After taking bronze in the women’s 100-meter hurdles on Monday at the Tokyo Olympics, Jamaican sprinter Megan Tapper showed off her rap skills during a post-game interview. The vibrant athlete didn’t miss a beat when she spontaneously closed out the interview by rapping and freestyling Nicki Minaj‘s “Moment 4 Life” song.
“I will retire with the crown, yes. No, I’m not lucky, I’m blessed, yes. Clap for the heavyweight champ, me. But I couldn’t do it all alone, we,” the Jamaican athlete said as she continued to echo almost the entire song.

Though Minaj references a different Jamaica in her song, the song choice was more than fitting.
Switching out Minaj’s verse that references Young Money and South Jamaica, Queens, the star then goes on to thank her coach and her Jamaican hometown of St. Andrews.
“Grew up out in Baisley Southside Jamaica, Queens and it’s crazy ‘Cause I’m still hood, Hollywood couldn’t change me. Shout out to my haters, sorry that you couldn’t faze me,” she says in the song.
The interviewer is heard then saying Tapper can probably “take on a second career.”
