*He’s an uber musician and entrepreneur and now Pharrell Williams will now also be known as

Louis Vuitton ’s artistic director of menswear. The news was confirmed on Tuesday (02-14-23).

This means that Pharrell fill the high-profile vacancy that had been left open since the death of Virgil Abloh in November 2021. Naming the award-winning music producer and artist as Louis Vuitton’s artistic/creative director of menswear was the first big decision of Pietro Beccari, who took over the world’s largest luxury brand from outgoing CEO Michael Burke, on February 1.

The entrepreneur ventured into beauty with gender neutral brand Humanrace in 2021. He is also a longtime friend of Chanel and served as a muse to the late Karl Lagerfeld and attended the recent Métiers d’art show in Dakar. He also attended the Off-White show in September in Paris.”
