A driver crashed into parked cars which pinned a man to death in southern Brooklyn Saturday morning, April 30, according to police.
Crown Heights resident Everton Stewart, 48, was killed when the driver pushed together the two unoccupied vehicles on East 89th Street in the Canarsie crash, cops said.

The fatal incident happened after the 46-year-old driver pulled over her Acura SUV to the side of the one-way residential block between Avenue L and Avenue M to let another motorist pass on her left around 9:35 a.m.
Stewart was standing between two legally parked cars when the driver pulled over, and she then suddenly accelerated into one of them, which in turn pinned the victim against the other stationary vehicle, according to cops.
Police officers found Stewart unconscious and unresponsive with head injuries, and paramedics rushed him to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers took the driver into custody for an interview, but she showed no signs of being impaired and had a “clean license,” according to an NYPD spokesperson, and she was not charged with a crime.
