R&B icon Patti LaBelle was handicapped at the BET Awards ceremony during her tribute performance to Tina Turner when teleprompter issues prevented her from seeing the lyrics. Miss LaBelle, however, struggled through “You’re Simply the Best” as a sympathetic crowd backed her up.
