Simone Biles has had quite the year. She again showed us how strong her Black Girl Magic was by leading the U.S. Gymnastics Team to a gold medal only 24 hours after being forced to visit the emergency room. She then became the first woman to win four all-around world titles. Shortly after speaking on her mental health, she’s making headlines again as ESPN’s Most Dominant Athlete of the year. The outlet finds the Houston native to be a powerhouse.

“The only thing greater than the legendary, genius, paradigm-shifting athletic status of Simone Biles is the degree to which so many don’t know or can’t understand what it is that she actually does,” according to the ESPN spread. “Even if you’ve seen Biles doing a split leap on a box of Special K, you likely don’t know the depth of her determination to dominate.”
