Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame has been destroyed more than once, and he has finally been voted off the island. The West Hollywood City council has voted to remove his star, unanimously.
The council will send a letter to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, but there is a chance the request might be denied. “The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the walk,” said the organizations president and CEO.
Will Trump’s star be the first to be completely removed from the Walk of Fame? It wouldn’t be surprising.
