The Trump administration is rescinding Obama-era guidelines that encourage universities to consider diversity in their admissions process.
The Wall Street Journal reported two sources close to the situation confirmed Trump’s plans to dump the guidelines. The administration believes the policies “mislead schools to believe that legal forms of affirmative action are simpler to achieve than the law allows.”
