Sen. Cory Booker Says ‘We Did It to Ourselves’ by Putting Trump In The White House

Sen. Cory Booker warned Democrats against stooping to President Donald Trump’s level by using divisive language to attack adversaries.

Black folks have no one to blame but themselves for Donald Trump’s shocking victory in the 2016 election, according to New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker.

“…We did it to ourselves,” Booker said during a gathering of African-American political and community leaders in New York on Friday, citing low voter turnout among Black citizens as a major factor in Trump’s presidential victory.
