In a brazen daylight heist, two thieves broke into an Atlanta cash-checking business by cutting through the roof and crashing into the store, making off with over $100,000 in cash. The robbery, which occurred on September 3, was captured on security footage, now released by the Atlanta Police Department in an effort to identify the suspects. The store’s manager, Teyoka Glenn, initially mistook the intruders for workers due to nearby construction, NBC News reported. After forcing her to open a safe, the robbers tied her up and fled through the back door with a duffel bag containing approximately $150,000.

Authorities believe the suspects used power tools to breach the roof, with a third accomplice acting as a lookout. The dramatic footage of the heist shows the criminals’ bold entry, leaving the store manager shaken but unharmed. Investigators are currently exploring whether this robbery is connected to another break-in that occurred the same day at a nearby business, where a wall was breached in a similar manner.

While police continue to gather evidence and pursue leads, a spokesperson from the Atlanta Police Department said both investigations remain active, with no further details available at this time. The release of the footage has intensified efforts to track down the perpetrators as authorities examine potential links between the two incidents.
