President Barack Obama has come out to strongly condemn the rise of anti-Semitism in America. The 44th president of the United States of America has added his voice of reason to the ongoing conversation about rising hate in the country, particularly anti-Semitism that has led to inhumane acts in different parts of the land. Each day is somewhat bringing a new experience of hatred and this must be what prompted the former president to call for all Americans “to fight the rise of anti-Semitism.” His statement comes in the wake of the Pittsburgh shooting in a synagogue, a heartless incident that left 11 people dead and scores wounded.

“We grieve for the Americans murdered in Pittsburgh,” Obama said on Twitter Saturday night. “All of us have to fight the rise of anti-Semitism and hateful rhetoric against those who look, love, or pray differently. And we have to stop making it so easy for those who want to harm the innocent to get their hands on a gun.”
