*A bizarre and unsettling incident unfolded earlier this month at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, where a naked woman caused chaos among travelers before being taken into custody, TMZ reports.
Authorities responded to a distress call regarding a passenger experiencing a mental health crisis, which quickly escalated into a violent encounter involving multiple victims. Identified in the police report as Samantha Palma, the woman reportedly suffered a manic episode that led her to attack others in the terminal. Witnesses stated she used a pencil as a weapon, stabbing at least two individuals, including a restaurant manager who attempted to restrain her. In the scuffle, she also bit the manager, leaving him with an arm injury that resulted in visible bruising.
As law enforcement officers apprehended her, she exhibited erratic behavior, making statements about being in a forest, wanting to be with flowers, and identifying as various fictional characters, including well-known Disney princesses. At one point, she referred to herself as “Venus” and claimed she was traveling from hell to heaven.
Police learned that Palma had been traveling with her eight-year-old daughter, raising concerns about the child’s well-being. During the investigation, Palma disclosed that she had not taken her prescribed medication, though specific details were omitted from the report.
The dramatic episode, which took place on March 14, was captured in footage that has since circulated on social media. Palma was ultimately placed under a mental health hold, but authorities also filed charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon due to the injuries she inflicted during the ordeal.
