North Las Vegas police finally tracked down the suspect behind the sudden killings of five people and critical injury of one teenage girl Monday evening. Authorities say the suspect in question cracked under pressure afterbeing cornered by the cops.
In a release, police said a woman in her 40s and another woman in her 50s were found shot to death at an apartment. Amidst the investigation, the police department stated officers received word of a 13-year-old girl who had been transferred to the hospital in critical condition from gunshot wounds. The cops then scoured the apartment building for anymore shooting victims and found the remains of two women and a man – all of whom had been shot to death.
Authorities say they soon identified the suspect as 47-year-old Eric Adams who was labeled as “armed and dangerous.” It only took but a few hours to locate him. However, when the police did find him, they lost the opportunity to place him in custody.

Just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, police learned that the suspect had been seen at a business in North Las Vegas.
As officers arrived in the area, they saw the suspect with a firearm, running into the backyard of a nearby home. The department said officers followed him, but the suspect refused to drop his weapon and died by suicide.
Police haven’t disclosed a motive for the shootings, which they described as an “isolated incident.” A spokesperson for the police department didn’t respond Tuesday to phone and emailed requests for more information.
