The Knicks have now won three games in a row after a 134-106 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday night. All five Knicks starters scored in double figures led by a game-high 26 points and eleven rebounds from captain Jalen Brunson. The Knicks record is now 8-6 and they will embark on a five-game road trip that starts out west in the middle of the week. The Knicks also got 24 points and 12 rebounds from center Karl Anthony Towns, 16 from OG Anunoby, and 14 apiece from Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges.
“I think guys are starting to get good rhythm, their chemistry is good, pushing the ball up the floor and then getting to the next action quickly and playing off the play,” Knicks Head Coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game. “As long as we keep moving and we attack space good things are going to come from that and I think being very decisive with our cuts. When you do that it opens things up. Either the cutter is open or you’re creating an open shot for one of your teammates.” The Knicks do not play at home again until December 1st.
