The Knicks are one win away from winning their third first-round playoff series in as many years, as they got a huge Game Four win over the Pistons in Detroit 94-93 on Sunday. The Knicks came back from an 11-point fourth quarter deficit and the brief loss of their captain Jalen Brunson in the process. Brunson left the game late in the third quarter with an apparent lower leg injury and left many Knicks fans thinking the worst.

Brunson reentered the game with 10:14 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Knicks down ten. Brunson would go on to score 15 points in the fourth quarter enroute to his game-high 32 points. Karl Anthony Towns scored eight huge points for New York in the final 2:42 of the game to help seal the victory.

“Playoff wins are tough, it’s hard to get them, we didn’t have much going our way to start the fourth,” said Knicks head Coach Tom Thibodeau after the game. “We dug down and found a way to win in the end, a lot of tough plays.”

The Knicks looked to end the series Tuesday night at home in Game Five against the Pistons. If they lost, game 6 would take place in Detroit Thursday night. Boston would be their next opponent as they looked to close out the Orlando Magic Tuesday night. Orlando kept their season alive by winning game 4 95-93.
