Just in time for the college football season, designer Kevin Leonel has launched a new collection that’s sure to appeal to Notre Dame students, alumni, and fans. In collaboration with Teeling Irish Whiskey and Notre Dame Athletics, Leonel has crafted a limited-edition series of “Irish Spirit” jackets. The collection will include two exclusive releases, along with a line of bespoke stadium jackets designed to capture the spirit of the Fighting Irish.
The first drop of the collection, available now, features jackets made with vintage patchwork materials and Irish tartan patterns, offering a stylish nod to Notre Dame’s rich history. The second release is set to follow in November. Leonel, known for his custom sports gear, brings his craftsmanship to this collaboration, which aligns with Notre Dame’s aim to offer fans unique apparel that celebrates their team pride. Teeling Whiskey, sharing a dedication to tradition and innovation, is also releasing two limited-edition whiskies as part of the partnership, further enhancing the game-day experience.
This marks the second year of the partnership between Teeling Irish Whiskey and Notre Dame Athletics, the first of its kind for the university. Stephen Teeling, Sales and Marketing Director for Teeling Whiskey, expressed pride in the collaboration, saying, “It’s been an honor to combine our rich heritage with Notre Dame to create these truly collectible whiskeys and jackets.” The partnership reflects a shared commitment to craftsmanship and tradition, with the release of Teeling’s 24-year-old “Phoenix Legends” Single Malt tailored specifically for Notre Dame fans.
