The New York Knicks gelled together in their 116-94 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks last Friday night at Madison Square Garden to bounce back after two losses.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with a game high 32 points and four 3-pointers and grabbed 11 total to go along with five assists. He and teammates hustled and kept the Bucks on their toes all night as they stayed ahead throughout the game. “I like how we played,” said Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau. “I thought we shared the ball, we made plays, we cut, we got people open (and) we screened well.”

New York dominated on the court in front of a sellout crowd (19,812) including Michael J. Fox, Cardi B and former players Carmelo Anthony and Stephon Marbury. The Knicks out-rebounded Milwaukee 48-41, made seven steals and capitalized on the Bucks’ 12 turnovers with 21 points. The Knicks had only 7 turnovers. The Bucks made one steal and blocked more shots, five compared to the Knicks three.

New York took the lead early and did not fall behind. The team was ahead 32-25 at the end of the first quarter. Towns dazzled with a driving dunk in the second quarter and New York led 66-47 at halftime. The Knicks kept up their energy and were ahead 91-72 going into the fourth quarter. OG Anunoby made a dunk, assisted by Towns, to bring the Knicks score to 100. He had 14 points and led the Knicks with three steals.

Six Knicks players scored in the double digits. Mikal Bridges added 17 points and three assists and Jalen Brunson had a game high of nine assists and had 15 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 24 points and the game high of 12 rebounds. Damian Lillard added 19 points for Milwaukee.

The Knicks fell to the Indiana Pacers 132-121 last Sunday before traveling to Philadelphia to face the 76ers Tuesday night and returned to the Garden to face the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night.
