The Liberal Women of Chesterfield County were quiet or non-existent when Representative Dave Brat pulled an upset over the house majority leader, Eric Cantor in 2014. Now they refuse to be silenced
Brat shocked Cantor, building an army of grass-roots supporters, aided in by conservative commentators like Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin. Then he made news again last year, after complaining to Republican supporters about women, their health care protests, and their refusal to leave him alone.
“The women are in my grill no matter where I go,” he complained, adding, “They come up — ‘When is your next town hall?’ And believe me, it’s not to give positive input.”
