In mid-November, Keysha Preston (pictured right) made a serious accusation to Houston police: a minor member of her family had confessed in her about being sexually assaulted by Keysha’s estranged husband.

Keysha herself had seen some inappropriate touching. Nine days later, the 41-year-old mother was discovered dead, and officials suspect her husband, Sean Dacko Preston (pictured left), is responsible.

Houston police detained Preston on Dec. 17 and charged him with murder. According to court papers obtained by the Houston Chronicle, officials believe he killed Keysha on Nov. 24 at a hotel before dismembering her, packing her body in duffel bags, and perhaps burning her remains with acid.

While the sexual assault case is not included in a police search request connected to Keysha’s alleged murder, she is mentioned in both cases—in the latter as a witness and in the former as a victim.
