The New York Giants lost again in Week 13, this time in front of the nation against America’s team on Thanksgiving Day 27-20 to their division rival Dallas Cowboys. Two weeks after the Giants released their starting quarterback of the last six seasons, Daniel Jones, Drew Lock made his first start for the Giants, against the Cowboys. Last week Tommy DeVito got the start at quarterback for New York. Lock completed 21 of 32 passes for 178 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. Lock also ran for 57 yards. “Upset when you lose but nothing but fun, you love football and love being able to come out here and play on Thanksgiving. You want to win, upset that we didn’t,” Lock said after the game. “The last 24 hours, I won’t forget it. It was an awesome opportunity to come out here and play. I wish we could have gotten it done. But I was very excited.”

This was the second time the Giants played in Dallas on Thanksgiving in the last three seasons.  The Giants lost two years ago as well. It was the Cowboys first home victory this year after losing their previous 5 games. The Boys last won at home against the Detroit Lions last December 30th 2023.

The Giants are now tied for the worst record in the NFL at 2-10 and host New Orleans this Sunday.
