The New York Jets ended a four game losing streak on Sunday with a 32-25 win over the lowly Jaguars in Jacksonville. With a record of 4-11 now, only a team with a worse record than the Jets could make them look good. The Jaguars now have a record of 3-11 and they gave up two touchdowns and 198 yards receiving alone to Jets wide receiver Devontae Adams in the second half after Adams had zero catches in the first half.
Along with the two scores to Adams, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw another touchdown to wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Rodgers even ran for 45 yards. “They’re all special, this is why you play, for the love of the game, to have moments like this with your boys,” Rodgers said after the game. “We were able to come up big, we haven’t had a lot of success. If you love this game there is nothing like dominating.”
Former Patriots quarterback Mac Jones threw for 294 yards two touchdowns and two interceptions for Jacksonville. Jaguars rookie receiver Brian Thomas Jr. caught ten balls for 105 yards and two touchdowns. The Jets have three games left on the season and will host the 8-6 Rams on Sunday.
