A student in Louisiana was pulled from school in front of her classmates because of her “unnatural” hairstyle. Her family is considering taking legal action against the school, while finding their daughter a new one.
A video of the incident was posted to Instagram this week, and shows the girl wiping her tears as she leaves the private Christian school with her parents. The school, Christ the King Parish School, only allows “natural” hair styles. The Archdiocese Catholic Schools Superintendent said that the student had already changed her hair to comply with the policy a week before, but “the new hairstyle was still not in compliance with the new hairstyle policy. At that point the parent made the decision to remove her child from the school.”
