A viral video circulating on X shows a tense altercation unfolding in a Walmart parking lot in Memphis, Tennessee, where two elderly Trump supporters repeatedly directed racial slurs at a Black woman. The confrontation reportedly began inside the store before spilling outside, capturing the attention of bystanders and eventually going viral online.
According to witnesses, Walmart management had refused service to the white couple, asking them to leave the premises. This rejection seemed to escalate the situation, leading to the couple’s aggressive behavior as they exited the store and encountered the Black woman in the parking lot.
None of the individuals involved in the confrontation have been publicly identified, and there is no indication that law enforcement was called to intervene. The nearly seven-minute video, which has garnered thousands of views, shows the exchange escalating as the couple makes their way toward their vehicle.
In the footage, the white woman, wearing a T-shirt, mom jeans, and a fanny pack, can be seen angrily approaching a minivan. As she passes, the Black woman filming mocks her, saying, “Awww, you weren’t able to get your groceries? That happens to racists. Racists can’t get their groceries here.” The verbal exchange quickly turns ugly, with the white woman responding by calling her a racial slur. The Black woman, undeterred, continues recording, shouting, “Racists can’t shop here,” before proudly declaring, “This is Memphis! It’s not Nashville,” a pointed reference to recent white supremacist rallies in the state capital.
