As much as we LOVE Bum Carson and his stellar Housing and Urban Development staff here at The Beacon, we think he’s physically and mentally incapable of doing anything more than being Trump’s go-to negro, “Yes Man!”

As Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, a branch that offers housing and other forms of assistance to millions of low income Americans, Bum Carson has failed to live up to his responsibility.  Maybe it’s his lack of energy?  Apparently, his new job is much tougher than brain surgery.

Carson is either unable or unwilling to secure the funds necessary to keep HUD running efficiently, according to a New York Times Report.

Yes, this is on top of him, removing the anti-discrimination language used in HUD’s mission statement.  But then again, he did back peddle on that adjustment so we can’t hold that against him.  Yes we can, because it’s the thought that counts.

Mr. Carson, people close to him say, hates asking anybody for money — and has told advisers that he feels acutely uncomfortable asking the president for anything that could be construed as a favor. When the White House budget director, Mick Mulvaney, proposed an 18 percent cut to HUD late last year, Mr. Carson reluctantly reached out to the president. Mr. Trump expressed sympathy. Then he told him to “talk to Mick” about the details.

Bum Carson has told people close to him, he hates asking for money and doesn’t want to ask anything of Trump that could be construed as a favor.

Last year, according to Vanity Fair, White House budget director Mick Mulvaney proposed an 18 percent cut.  Bum Carson, the talented brain surgeon used his keen business sense and negotiated that number to a whopping 14 percent.  Still this is after Donald Trump promised he wouldn’t get any cuts.  When Carson would reach out to Trump, to speak on the budget, Trump would respond with, “Talk to Mick.”

These days Carson feels out the loop!
