Cosby was on trial for drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004. During the trial, five women testified against the 80-year-old comedian and spoke about similar incidents of drugging and sexual assault they experienced with Cosby.

Over the last couple of years, more than 50 women have come forward and alleged that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them, claims of which Cosby has denied.

During deliberations, a juror asked Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Steven O’Neill what the definition of consent was, but the O’Neill told them that he could not give the definition but to use common sense.

Assistant Montgomery County District Attorney Kristen Feden told jurors that Cosby preyed on women over a career that spanned 50 years.

They are calling this a WIN for the #MeeToo Movement and maybe it is. But it’s a HUGE L for #BlackCulture

I’m not much of a writer so I’ll make my opinion brief. Of all the recent cases of #SexualAssault in #hollywood, some instances of #Rape, physical rape, not date rape in addition to other abuses of power for sexual gratification the one man that actually faces repercussions is #BillCosby

Just like with all the police killings, the ones that faced actual prosecution were #BlackCops

I wouldn’t call this a win for the #MeToo Movement. I’d say this is more of an act of pacification, a slap in the face and a total loss for the #BlackCommunity.
