The New York Football Giants clinched their first playoff berth since 2016 on Sunday afternoon with a 38-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts. It marked the first time the Giants have scored 30 points or more since week 5 of the 2020 season.  Giants quarterback Daniel Jones led the way finishing with two touchdowns through the air and two on the ground.  It was the first time Jones accounted for four touchdowns in a game since his rookie season of 2019 when he did so on four separate occasions, which was and still is a NFL rookie record. The defense got a sack a piece from their stud defensive linemen Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux.

With one week left to go in the regular season the Giants will finish the schedule on Sunday in Philadelphia.  With a record of 9-6-1 the Giants are locked into the number six spot in the NFC standings and cannot move up or down.  Two weeks from now when the postseason begins they will be on the road and could face either Philadelphia, Dallas, Minnesota or San Francisco depending on the outcome of Sunday’s contests. They have a playoff history with all four opponents.
