Another Triple Double For Hart

The Knicks returned home from a 13-day five-game road trip to beat the Miami Heat 116-95 on Monday night. The Knicks fell down by as many as 13 points several times in the first half before Knicks center Karl Anthony Towns scored 15 straight points to give the Knicks a 33-31 advantage with 7:04 remaining in the second quarter. The Knicks would however trail by two at halftime.
In the third quarter the Knicks outscored Miami 41-15 which gave them a 24 point lead headed into the fourth quarter and it was cruise sailing the rest of the way.
The 15-0 run that Towns went on in the second quarter was the largest consecutive scoring run in Knicks history. Josh Hart finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists for his eighth triple double of the season tying Walt Clyde Frazier for the most in a season in Knicks history. “For me to be in the same sentence as Clyde or tied with a record like that is a blessing.” Hart said after the game. Knicks swingman Mikal Bridges had a game high 28 points for the Knicks.
