*If you knew the same treatment Donald Trump gave to immigrants in the United States would happen to American citizens as they travel throughout the world, would you change your opinion when it comes to a travel ban and tariffs?
Trump has a pending travel ban with a list of 43 countries on it. Instead of waiting for the travel ban to take effect, leaders of some countries have canceled visas of American citizens and given them a deadline to exit their borders.
Five hundred American workers in the west African country of Namibia were told to leave and their work visas were terminated in retaliation to Trump’s pending travel ban. Mexico’s president shared a post reminding people of the goods and services available outside of the United States, obviously taking advantage of the opportunity to promote her country and to encourage other countries to do the same.
