Just as in game 1, the Celtics had a chance to win the game but New York came up with great defensive stop as Jason Tatum driving to the basket was hounded by Mitchell Robinson. Tatum looked to pass the ball back out to Jaylen Brown but Mikal Bridges steps in front for the game ending steal. The 4th game at Madison Square Garden end in a close overtime loss making the Knicks they could compete with the NBA Champions. New York stole game 1 in front of a hostile crowd. They didn’t get rattled in game 2.

Said captain Jalen Brunson afterwards, “I’m happy we found a way to win, that’s some wild stuff right there.” On him converting the game wining free throws, “I got up there, heard the noise, and tried to block everything out, and then made two. We’re just gonna keep fighting, focus on each other, focus on us, focus on one thing at a time, and get ready for Game 3.

It will take place at the World’s Most Famous arena Madison Sqaure Saturday afternoon at 3:30. The Knicks will look to take a commanding 3-0 series. New York knows the Celtics will not go away easily.
