The death of Baton Rouge therapist William Nicholas Abraham has led to the arrest of Terryon Thomas, a popular TikTok personality known as “Mr. Prada,” whose online fame has now taken a dark turn. Thomas, 20, is facing second-degree murder charges after authorities discovered Abraham’s body wrapped in a tarp along a Louisiana highway on September 29.

Thomas was arrested just days later, on October 1, in Dallas County, Texas, after leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle that belonged to the victim. The pursuit ended in a crash, and Thomas was taken into custody before being extradited back to Louisiana. He is currently being held without bond at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. The young influencer, who boasts more than 4 million followers across two TikTok accounts, now faces serious legal consequences in the aftermath of the grisly discovery.

According to an arrest affidavit from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, surveillance footage captured Abraham entering Thomas’ apartment late last month. Several hours later, witnesses reported seeing Thomas struggling to drag a blue tarp down the stairs of the building and loading it into Abraham’s car. When police searched the apartment, they found blood throughout the premises and evidence that Thomas had attempted to clean up the scene, the affidavit stated.

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the attack as “very physical and very violent,” adding that Abraham suffered extensive injuries to his head, shoulders, and neck. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, though investigators have noted that there is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham, who was well-regarded in the Baton Rouge community for his work as a therapist.

Friends and colleagues of Abraham, who was 34, have expressed shock and grief over his violent death. “Dr. Abraham was a very kind, very tender, very gentle man,” said Jarret Ambeau, a Baton Rouge attorney and friend of the victim. “No one deserves to die this way, but I would have never expected someone of his disposition to have been violently murdered.”

As the investigation continues, questions remain about the events leading up to Abraham’s death and the relationship, if any, between the therapist and the TikTok star now accused of his murder.
