On Sunday the New York Jets traveled to the scene where their season turned for the worse a year ago. This time around they hope a win can turn this season for the better. Dynamic second year running back Breece Hall gave the Jets the lead for good on Sunday in Denver against the Broncos on a 72 yard touchdown run two plays into their first drive of the second half. The Jets won the game 31-21 and now have a record of 2-3.
The Jets hit their peak last season when they won in Denver and moved their record to 5-2. In that game Hall ran for a 62 yard score before tearing the ACL in his knee which ended his season. Jets offensive lineman Alijah Vera Tucker was lost for the season in that game as well (biceps tear) and the Jets would win just two of their final ten games the rest of the way. Tucker suffered another season ending injury again this time around, a torn achilles. Maligned third year quarterback Zach Wilson finished 19 of 26 for 199 yards no touchdowns and one interception. The Jets host the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday who they have never beat.
