*TV One kicks off Love, Lies & Murder theme for the month of July with four original movie premieres. Inspired by actual events, the network that brought viewers “When Love Kills” and the popular true-crime series “Fatal Attraction,” delivers a series of stories that explore the dark side of love through deceit, betrayal, obsession and jealousy.

TV One’s month of true crime stories includes the inspired by true events movie “In Broad Daylight.”

 

 

 

EURweb got the chance to talk with cast members Chyna Layne and Curtis Hamilton about the film’s theme, domestic violence. Also,  how important it is to speak up in toxic relationships and advice to mothers who are in a situation of this caliber.

In Broad Daylight tells the story of Jordan Boudreaux (Layne) falls in love and starts to build a family with Steve (Hamilton) who grows an obsession with Boudreaux. When Jordan finds the strength to leave the abusive relationship with the help of her cousin Malik (Shad Moss), Steve can’t control the impulse of having Jordan all to himself leading him to abduct the single mother. The crazy events cause Jordan’s family to rally together making it their personal mission to bring her home safely before it’s too late.
