On Sunday, an atrocious hit-and-run crash killed three people and injured another on Chicago‘s south side outside one of the country’s oldest Black-owned gay bars, The Jeffrey Pub.

According to ABC, Devonta Vivetter, 27, and Donald Huey, 25, have been identified as two of the three victims killed.

“I’ve been crying all day. It’s just – I can’t believe it,” Vivetter’s cousin, Anita, told ABC. “Someone jumped in the car and ran them over. Saw that they were fighting, jumped in the car, and ran them over.”

Chicago police believe the incident started inside the Jeffery Pub, where an “ongoing altercation” carried outside when someone jumped into a car around 5 a.m., running over the group in the street.

Explicit clips of the hit-and-run incident show several bar-goers grappling in the street when a silver car races down the dark road and hits four of them on impact. The disturbing video shows three of the victim’s bodies flying into the air as bystanders screamed and stood back.
