The Trump administration has not launched any efforts to limit the state restrictions on the ability to vote, and things are changing nationwide. A voter ID law in North Dakota could restrict many Native Americans, the collection of absentee ballots is being challenged to suppress voters in Arizona, while voters from Georgia are being counted out if their records aren’t spotless and perfectly matching other records, a way to target minority voters.

During any other administration, steps would be taken to fix these unfair voter laws and adjustments, but under Trump, the government sides with these restrictions. Voting has only gotten more difficult, while Jeff Sessions has participated in practices that unfairly dilute minority voting power, and have been opposed by the government in recent years.
